Their Marseille soaps are beautifully coloured using natural pigments and enriched with shea-nut butter creating very high quality, long lasting soaps which cater for all skin types and tastes. The Famous Aleppo Soap
They also import into Ireland the not so well known Aleppo soap made in Aleppo in Syria. Aleppo soap is produced using production methods and ingredients little changed since the 8th century. Aleppo soap is renowned throughout the Arab world for its therapeutic qualities. It softens and nourishes the skin, allowing in-depth cleaning while laural berry oil helps to restore and maintain the natural hydro-lipid layer of the skin. Aleppo soap comes in four different grades according to the percentage of laurel berry oil used and quality of the olive oil. The Sunvale Soap Company only stock the best of these, which is called Royal Aleppo soap, made with 74% olive oil and 20% laurel berry oil from bay trees, with no preservatives or artificial fragrances. Cured outside in the sun for nine months, it has the same pH value as skin making this soap extremely mild and hypo-allergenic. Suitable for even the most delicate skins, Aleppo soap can be used to help the relieve and soothe the symptoms of eczema, psiorsis and acne as well as being a very moisturising general soap for everyday use and a great shaving soap.
Liquid Aleppo soap is also available and can be used as a shampoo and shower gel.
