LOVELY STUFF organics is obsessed with delivering natural and organic skincare products of the highest quality at the most affordable price. At the stall, you will find salves, butters, oils, lotions, creams, masks, soaps, balms, natural perfumes and salts for all skin types including babies, sensitive skin and problem skin. Only natural, organic ingredients are used to produce high quality products without nasty chemicals – no parabens, no SLS/SLES, no artificial colourants or fragrances and no petrochemicals.

The Science Bit!

Joanne has trained with leading experts in the development of natural cosmetics and is a member of interest groups and forums on related matters.

Her policy in formulating LOVELY STUFF products is less is more so the use of emulsifiers and preservatives is avoided in the balms and salves produced as they don't need it but where LOVELY STUFF mixes water and oils together only naturally derived emulsifiers are used (used in the making of vegan ice cream in Scandinavia) and preservatives — if they didn't you would have to store your face creams in the fridge and they would last a few weeks before they would grow mould.

All the products are handmade by Joanne in small batches so they will come to you as fresh as possible.

The Products

You can trust LOVELY STUFF products don't contain any undesirable chemicals— there’s no need when Nature provides a vast array of wonderful skin food. In fact, all the oils are derived from plants, flowers, fruits, herbs, seeds, nuts, grains and these are complimented with seaweed, beeswax, clays, aloe vera and natural plant derived active ingredients such as lecithin, collagen and vitamins to name but a few!
Nothing Joanne makes or buys has been tested on animals—a practice LOVELY STUFF finds repulsive. The company has good management practices (GMP) and upholds very high standards.

LOVELY STUFF’s suppliers are the best, giving exceptional quality raw ingredients organically grown without chemicals .. it makes sense to use organic skincare - after all your skin is the largest organ in the body and absorbs up to 60% of everything that’s applied to it. You buy organic food to look after yourself from the inside—now you can use organic skincare to look after yourself from the outside too!

Happily a growing number of the raw ingredients used are fairly traded and a number are in the process of gaining fair trade status— its good for everyone.

In the packaging glass, aluminum tins, and a small amount of plastics (composed of long chain carbon and hydrogen molecules so they disintegrate better than other plastics) are used. Orders are posted in recycled boxes etc. and all waste is recycled with a local contractor. The company’s electricity is supplied by Airtricity.
