New Milk Market Limerick website showcases the new all-weather, all-week market

The Limerick Market Trustees have launched a new website for the Milk Market, in advance of the re-opening of the market as an all-weather, all-week markets venue. The market, tranformed following major €2m redevelopment works, will open on Saturday, June 19.

The website will keep everyone with an interest in the Milk Market up-to-date on the different markets, the planned events and the traders who attend each market.

The new website features:

  • Profiles of the markets at the Milk Market, including the new Friday City Market, the Saturday ‘Famous Food’ Market and the Sunday Riverside Variety Market.

  • Information on the new Food Pavilion at the Milk Market which is open Wednesdays to Sundays offering great food and ‘food to go’ options.

  • An events calendar with details of the ‘next up’ events at the Milk Market together with a full 12-month events calendar which features all the planned events such as ‘the Flower and Gardens market’ on every Bank Holiday Monday.

  • Details of all the shops and stalls at the markets including full profiles of all the traders, their produce and their contact details.

  • The very latest news from the markets from ‘new traders’ to celebrity visits.

  • Information on how you can become a trader at the different markets.

  • Information on using the Milk Market as a venue for other markets or for special events.

  • Recipes that are provided, tried and tested by the traders or by friends of the market.
